Welcome to the South West Beef Shorthorn Breeders Club (SWBSBC). The Club was formed in October 2004 in order to promote the Beef Shorthorn Breed in the South West of England. Our Membership covers the counties of Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. The aim of the club is to promote the Beef Shorthorn breed in both pedigree and commercial breeding and for the general benefit of its membership.
We arrange two herd visits a year either to a member's herd or to a herd/herds outside of our area. We also hold an annual herd competition and photo competition for which we have a presentation dinner.
